2008 Volkswagen R32 Review The Volkswagen R32 doesn't look like the big, bad flagship performers from the Other Guys. One of the most pleasing shapes in nature is the arc. At once graceful, strong and dynamic, the human eye simply loves to follow a curve. This fact was not lost on Volkswagen designers when they created the Passat CC (Comfort Coupe).

The venerable GTI is redesigned and refined, but never redefined, and that's a good thing. The concept has been sound since the very first GTI hit our streets in the early 1980s: it's a compact, fuel-efficient sports car that can haul a load of groceries or a lot of butt with equal ability. There's more competition out there these days, but the latest-generation GTI remains near the head of

Station wagons were once considered definitive family cars but modern preferences for sport utility vehicles and minivans pushed them to toward extinction. Volkswagen, however, never gave up on the wagon—it doesn’t hurt that they remain the definitive family vehicle in Europe—so when the manufacturer redesigned its midsize Passat sedan for 2006, the redesigned 2007 Passat wago

Just about everybody knows about the evil twin to Volkswagen's Golf, the GTI. The original 'hot hatch' has been bringing performance in a convenient two-door hatchback package for over three decades. The latest, all-new GTI is setting the hearts of enthusiasts on fire yet again as we speak.

Our story begins back in 1974 with the introduction of the VW Dasher. While fun to drive, with innovations such as rack and pinion steering and fuel injection, the Dasher’s reputation for reliability was – shall we say – a bit less than stellar.

You've got big space front and rear. You've got comfortable seats and a slick four- or six-cylinder drivetrain and a world-class suspension. You can even have a leather interior, satellite navigation and F1-inspired paddle shifters. This is not the frugal, no-frills Volkswagen that you or your parents may remember.
