Automakers donate $8 million for victims of China's quake

(Updated June 2) Automakers and their employees have pledged some $8 million in cash, vehicles and supplies in the wake of May 12's massive earthquake in Western China. The 8.0 magnitude quake killed at lest 69,019. Chinese officials add that more than five million people have been left homeless and 18,627 people remain missing. |

Honda's ASIMO helps honor Yo Yo Ma

Honda's little robot feller, ASIMO, strutted out on stage to guest conduct the Detroit Symphony Orchestra last week in a performance of 'The Impossible Dream.'
The robot also helped present an award to Yo Yo Ma for his generous spirit. |
