| The Toyo Kogyo Company, which eventually called itself Mazda, began
producing automobiles in 1960. Mazda introduced itself to the United
States in 1960, and made its mark with rotary power. The Japanese
manufacturer has consistently offered the lightweight alternative-
combustion engines since the 1970s, installing them in everything
from sports cars to pickup trucks. In 1989, Mazda singlehandedly
reinvented the sports roadster with the Miata. The enjoyable-
performance halo of that car has influenced the entire Mazda lineup
since then; from the rotary-powered RX-8 to the multi-useful Mazda5 |

2010 Mazda Mazda3 Review
|
| Mazda | 5/14/2009 |

There's a trend toward compacts becoming more of a 'destination' vehicle than a 'transition' car. Around the On Wheels office at least, compact cars have often been viewed as the car you get until you can afford something bigger. The Mazda3 is solid proof that compact cars don't have to be penalty boxes. |

What they need to do, whoever "they" is, is to build a car that can haul like a minivan, is easy and fun to drive while still getting good fuel economy, and price it within reach of the average customer. That would be perfect. That's what they ought to do. |

2008 Mazda Mazda6 Review
|
| Mazda | 3/18/2008 |
 |
It‘s pretty easy to tell at a glance that the Mazda6 hasn‘t changed lately. However, that‘s not a completely bad thing. In today‘s fast-paced car market (oh, who am I fooling? The car market has been fast-paced since the 1950s) even the newest of the new products have a tendency to age quickly. The Mazda6 debuted in 2003, and it‘s been more or less the same ever... |

2008 Mazda Tribute Review

| Mazda | 3/18/2008 |

What‘s that boxy little trucklet parked behind the curvy, carlike new sport-utes from Mazda, the CX-7 and CX-9? That would be the 2008 Mazda Tribute, Mazda‘s original compact SUV. Sharing underpinnings with the Ford Escape and Mercury Mariner, the Tribute debuted in 2001, and it receives its first redesign for 2008. The Tribute may have been around for a while, but don‘t go... |

2007 Mazda CX-9 Review

Now here‘s an interesting statistic that you might not see on the news any time soon: Mazda is now the second company to replace its minivan with a three-row 'crossover vehicle.' The all-new CX-9 isn‘t a lame attempt to butch up a minivan, a transgression that Pontiac, Chevrolet and Mazda have all been guilty of in the past. |

2007 Mazda 3 speed3 Review

In most professional endeavors, a three-sided matrix governs the delivery of products and services. Called the good, fast and cheap rule, it states that you can always have any two of those three, but you can never have all three simultaneously. If somethings good and fast, it wont be cheap. If its good and cheap it wont be |

2006 Mazda 3i Review
|
| Mazda | 9/6/2007 |
 |
I‘m going to make a bold statement here: a $14,000 Mazda3 is more fun than a $95,000 Maserati Spyder. I know, because I drove them back to back. Impossible, you say? It shouldn‘t come as a surprise at all. Don‘t let the Mazda3‘s commuter-shaped body fool you, and don‘t make that call to the psychiatric ward, either. |
